Michelle was able to come home yesterday around noon. She has made good progress. She even ate at the dinner table with us last night. She has a slight fever. The doctor gave her a device to make sure she keeps her lungs clear. It will be several weeks before she is able to get back into her normal routine. Michelle’s mom, Rita has extended her stay until April 5 to help out.
Dad (Gail Wicks) is still in Nebraska. He is enjoying a visit from Cynthia (my sister) and her son, Michael. Dad’s platelet count was down so he received a transfusion on Wednesday. The Seattle doctors thought that he might hit some lows with his platelets this week. His cough seems to be better and his fever is down. He will return to Seattle on April 4.
