  2. Here’s something for your on-line diary for the new year: live streaming of World ORT’s Wingate Seminar which, for 2011, will be exploring the theme of Digital Content Creation for Learning.

The Seminar brings participants from Argentina, Czech Republic, France, Italy, Israel, Lithuania, Mexico, Russia, South Africa, Ukraine & Uruguay to ORT House in London between January 10 and 14.

But four of the five days will be streamed on-line meaning anyone can participate – wherever they are.

Speakers include: Professor Jonathan Drori, formerly head of commissioning for BBC Online & Current Chair of the H. H. Wingate Foundation; Danny Nicholson, Interactive Whiteboard Trainer (www.whiteboardblog.co.uk); Professor Tom Boyle, Director of the Learning Technology Research Group at London Metropolitan University; and, Theo Kuechel, consultant on digital media and technologies for learning.

You will be able to view the stream via http://tiny.cc/wingate11 where we will also put up the full timetable for streaming in the new year.
